Students are also getting great practice washing and hanging up their aprons after each use.\r\n\r\nWe have been able to make several new recipes using our child safe knifes. With these knifes, students are able to safely and independently cut ingredients without a staff providing hand over hand support. Our first recipe we made that required cutting was a fruit salad. The favorite recipe we have made with the knives so far has been tomato soup- the knives came in handy when cutting onions, garlic and carrots!\r\n\r\nAs their teacher, I appreciate the storage rack and coat rack to better store our aprons and our empty food items that we practice stocking, bagging and buying with.\r\n\r\nWe cannot wait to continue developing our cooking skills with new our new materials and shopping skills.
