The students get a new magazine article to read each week that is relevant to a current worldly topic. \r\n\r\nThey have so much and get so excited for whatever the next issue is. There is an important cover story in every week's magazine along with four additional articles that focus on another topic. Each issue comes with a Debate It article where kids get the chance to express their opinions and practice writing a claim and thesis statement. \r\n\r\nIt has helped many students with their reading and comprehension skills as well as help me as a teacher assess fluency, reading, listening, and writing skills.\r\n\r\n,I love incorporating Scholastic Magazines with my classroom so much I hope to use it in future years!
