This project gave me a strong start to setting up a welcoming, bright, and colorful classroom environment, particularly with bulletin boards. I have gotten so many compliments on how colorful and fun the classroom looks!\r\n\r\nThe puck lights have helped so much with our bathroom check-out system of turning on the light on their way out and turning it off on their way back in. This has helped my students be more independent, self-monitor, and limit classroom disruptions when the bathroom is occupied. \r\n\r\nI think it is so important for students to have a classroom that they feel excited to come to everyday. So far, I think we have achieved that. I have an amazing group of students and families who are very engaged and participate in their child's education. \r\n\r\nIt was really difficult to start completely over in a new state with zero materials. The support I have received through Donors Choose has made all the difference.
