The new materials — including Magna-Tiles, a Hot Wheels ramp, a marble run, a wooden train set, and a toy cash register — have quickly become favorite learning tools in our daily play centers.\r\n\r\nThe moment our students first saw the new toys, their eyes lit up and their imaginations immediately went to work. Within minutes, groups of students were building tall Magna-Tile towers, designing Hot Wheels tracks together, and negotiating which train engine should go first on the tracks. Others set up pretend \"stores\" with the toy cash register, taking turns being the shopper and cashier, all while practicing math, manners, and kindness.\r\n\r\nThese materials have done more than just spark excitement — they've become powerful tools for building friendship, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Our students are learning how to:\r\n\r\n*Work as a team to plan and build structures together\r\n*Take turns and share pieces respectfully\r\n*Use kind words and solve small problems during play\r\n*Use their imagination in dramatic and constructive play\r\n*Celebrate each other's ideas and successes\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite moments so far was watching a small group work together for 15 minutes to design a marble run that worked \"all the way from the top shelf to the floor.\" When it finally worked, they all jumped up and cheered together — it was pure joy!\r\n\r\nThese experiences are helping our TK students grow into confident, caring, and curious learners. They are building friendships, learning to express themselves, and practicing the foundational social-emotional skills they'll carry with them throughout school and life.\r\n\r\nYour generosity made this possible — and we are so grateful.
