During Language Arts Centers, small groups of students practice the "listening" skill, which is one of the standards in reading comprehension. They can listen to literature on the iPads while answering comprehension questions on their iPads. During math time, students who are above grade level may finish the lesson early and need interactive learning apps to meet them at their level while the teacher helps other groups. To involve students in the latest technology, they will make and access assignments with QR codes on their iPads. They can even use QR codes to do exciting, educational "escape rooms", where they follow QR codes to assignments that lead them to find answers through investigation. When learning is fun, the lesson is memorable!
