My students have been so excited to use the new books and materials each day during reading activities and group projects.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite classroom activities has been exploring stories from different Spanish-speaking countries. Students are reading books together, learning new vocabulary, and creating small presentations about traditions, foods, and celebrations from those cultures. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they practice speaking and reading in Spanish.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were thrilled. Many immediately started looking through the books and sharing them with classmates. In our rural community, resources like these are especially meaningful, and the mini library has already become a special part of our classroom.\r\n\r\nAs we continue learning, students will begin keeping reading journals in Spanish and participating in literature circles to strengthen their comprehension and communication skills. We are also preparing for a project where students will research Spanish-speaking countries and share what they learn with the class using the books from our library. In the future, I also hope to request additional cultural books, including duplicate copies and classroom sets, so that more students can read and discuss the same stories together during group activities.\r\n\r\nYour kindness is helping create new opportunities for learning, curiosity, and cultural connection in our classroom.
