It has been SO helpful for our kiddos! We are able to roll out all of the backpacks for snack time, and bring in the backpacks when we pack up inside! It has also been nice to pack up outside on Wednesdays when we go straight from recess time to lining up. As the weather has gotten colder, the backpack rack has helped free up space for our jackets to hang up inside. On rainy days, it's been nice rolling the backpacks inside to keep them dry. \r\n\r\nAs you can see, there have been so many benefits of having our own moveable backpack rack in K1! The students were so very excited to see the bookshelf and the rolling carts that are being used for storing their items. The bookshelf and the rolling carts put the finishing touches on our classroom!\r\n\r\nThe students are enjoying using the bookshelf to choose books from. They are able to see the books on display and choose them easily. It also is easier for them to return the books to where they were originally.\r\n\r\nThe rolling carts that we use for cubbies have also been a big success. The children keep their supplies in them and they are easily accessible to the students. The rolling part has been very convenient for me as well. Many students will be able to use the items that you supported for many years to come!\r\nWe received our paint easel, paint containers, and manipulatives right before Winter Break. After the holidays we over, the students were so excited to see what had been donated! The paint easel was such a big hit! The students actually clapped when they saw it put together! They have enjoyed creating beautiful pictures on the paint easel! Than manipulatives that the students are using for fine motor practice have been a big hit too!
