At the current time, we are using small classroom timers for our athletic events and the time needs to be shared aloud numerous times during the games. We are using flip charts for scoring and they are becoming old and need to be updated. The idea of having the electronic scoreboard would assist the teams on both sides to keep the playing field on a fair level. Each team would clearly know the time that has elapsed and a loud enough buzzer would stop all play for each at the same time. The referees/umpires would be connected with teachers who are manning the scoring table.
