Your support in providing our Fairy Tale STEM materials has made a meaningful impact on my students' learning experiences.\r\nWith these new resources, my students have been able to explore familiar fairy tales in exciting, hands-on ways. They are now building bridges for the Three Billy Goats, designing sturdy houses for the Three Little Pigs, and problem-solving like real engineers. These activities have sparked creativity, strengthened teamwork, and encouraged critical thinking skills in a way that truly brings learning to life.\r\nMany of my students have limited access to STEM materials outside of school, so your donation has given them opportunities they may not have otherwise experienced. I have already seen an increase in engagement, confidence, and enthusiasm during our lessons. Students who were once hesitant are now eager to participate, share ideas, and take risks in their learning.\r\nYour kindness has not only provided materials, but it has also inspired curiosity and joy in our classroom. At this age, children learn best through hands-on exploration, and the art center has quickly become one of the most engaging and valuable parts of our classroom.\r\n\r\nStudents now have consistent access to a variety of materials that allow them to create, explore, and express themselves freely. I've seen a noticeable increase in their creativity and confidence as they experiment with colors, textures, and different tools. Many of my students are still developing their language skills, and the art center gives them another powerful way to communicate their ideas and emotions.\r\n\r\nThe art center has also strengthened fine motor development, which is essential at the TK level. Activities like cutting, drawing, gluing, and painting are helping students build the hand strength and coordination they need for writing. Beyond academics, it has supported social growth as well—students are learning to share materials, collaborate, and take pride in both their own work and the work of their classmates.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, the art center has brought so much joy into our classroom. Students are excited to create, and they look forward to their time in this space each day. Your support has truly enriched their learning environment and provided opportunities they will carry with them as they continue their educational journey.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping them grow as creative, confident learners.","fullyFundedDate":1769178033743,"projectUrl":"project/little-hands-big-creativity-an-art-cen/9977269/","projectTitle":"Little Hands, Big Creativity: An Art Center for Transitional Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Pervaiz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4495803_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1497410782727","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4495803"},{"teacherId":9329365,"projectId":9982019,"letterContent":"Your generosity is making a lasting difference in my students' lives. My class works incredibly hard every day, and these LEGO Creator sets are more than just a gift—they are a celebration of each student's growth, effort, and perseverance throughout the year.\r\n\r\nMany of my students come from low-income households and do not have access to hands-on STEM or creative building materials at home. Because of your support, each child will have their own set to build, rebuild, and explore their imagination beyond the classroom walls.\r\n\r\nThese LEGO sets encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, fine motor development, and creativity—skills we practice daily. By taking them home, students will continue learning through play over the summer, strengthening both their confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this gift shows my students that their hard work matters. It helps them feel valued, celebrated, and proud of what they have accomplished this year.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping my students end the school year with joy, confidence, and a love for learning that will continue to grow.","fullyFundedDate":1768963822433,"projectUrl":"project/building-creativity-and-confidence-with/9982019/","projectTitle":"Building Creativity and Confidence with LEGO Creator Sets","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Azevedo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9329365"},{"teacherId":10397765,"projectId":9988847,"letterContent":"Our class has been having so much fun using the new LEGO Creator dragon and unicorn sets during our creative building and storytelling time. One of our favorite classroom moments happened when students worked in small groups to build the dragon and the unicorn and then created a magical \"land\" for them to live in. Some students built mountains and caves for the dragon, while others made a colorful garden and castle for the unicorn. After building, the students used their imaginations to act out short stories about the dragon and unicorn becoming friends and going on adventures together. It was wonderful to see their creativity, teamwork, and storytelling skills come to life.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were absolutely thrilled! Many of them immediately recognized the dragon and unicorn and began sharing ideas about what they could build. There were lots of excited smiles and \"oohs\" and \"wows\" around the room. Some students carefully followed the building instructions, while others explored the pieces and talked with their friends about what they might create next. The excitement made the classroom feel full of energy and curiosity.\r\n\r\nNext, our students will continue using the dragon and unicorn sets as part of a storytelling and literacy lesson. After building their characters and settings, students will draw pictures and dictate short stories about the adventures their dragon and unicorn go on. We will also encourage them to design new habitats or friends for their characters using the LEGO pieces. These activities will help build creativity, language development, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while making learning fun and engaging.","fullyFundedDate":1769178041248,"projectUrl":"project/lego-creators/9988847/","projectTitle":"LEGO creators","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10397765"},{"teacherId":10397765,"projectId":9985979,"letterContent":"The alphabet sound tubs have had an incredibly positive impact on my low-income kindergartners. We use them daily during our phonics and literacy centers. Each tub is organized by letter sound, and students explore real, hands-on objects that match the focus letter.\r\n\r\nTheir reaction was pure excitement. The moment I introduced the tubs, their eyes lit up. For many of my students, hands-on learning tools like these are not something they regularly have access to. They were eager to open the tubs, carefully examine each object, and share their discoveries with their classmates.\r\n\r\nAs we continue building foundational literacy skills, we are now moving into blending sounds to read simple CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. It has strengthened their readiness for kindergarten by fostering a love of writing and self-expression in a supportive learning environment.\r\nAs TK writers, my students are beginning to see themselves as authors and storytellers.
