When the boxes arrived and my students saw the new materials—painting rocks, canvases, Sharpies, kinetic sand, stacking stones, erasers, snacks, and more—the room was instantly filled with excitement and curiosity.\r\n\r\nWe've already begun using these resources in several meaningful ways. One of our first projects was a Kindness Rocks activity, where students painted messages of encouragement, friendship, and positivity on the flat stones. They took such pride in their designs and loved the idea that their artwork might brighten someone else's day. The students used the new Sharpies and paint palettes to add thoughtful words and bright patterns, and the canvases allowed those who wanted to create larger art pieces to express themselves even more deeply.","fullyFundedDate":1755447052642,"projectUrl":"project/ready-set-and-learn/9515828/","projectTitle":"Ready, Set and Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Miramontes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9198539_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x16,y4&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692559716511","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9198539"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_26758","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":462,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":57,"percentAsian":20,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":17,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":52,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"24.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":86.5,"schoolId":26758,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about G.H.
