Having access to basic supplies ensures that students are prepared to participate fully in lessons and activities. When students have the materials they need readily available, they can focus their attention on learning, completing assignments, and expressing their ideas.\r\n\r\nBecause of these resources, I was able to spend more time focusing on teaching and supporting my students rather than worrying about whether we had enough supplies for everyone. These classroom essentials help keep our learning environment organized and make it possible for students to engage in writing, note-taking, and other daily academic tasks.\r\n\r\nThanks to the generosity of our donors, our classroom is better equipped with the essential materials students need to succeed. Your support helps create a learning environment where every student has access to the tools they need to participate, grow, and do their best each day.","fullyFundedDate":1753573757922,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-essentials/9443148/","projectTitle":"Classroom Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8553953"},{"teacherId":8553953,"projectId":9443200,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom with essential supplies like folders, writing utensils, and paper. These materials are used every day in our classroom and help students stay organized and fully participate in their learning.\r\n\r\nStudents use their folders to keep their classwork organized and their writing materials to complete daily assignments, journal responses, and longer writing activities. One moment that stood out was when students began a writing activity and everyone had the supplies they needed right in front of them. Instead of worrying about finding materials, students were able to jump right into writing and focus on sharing their ideas.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will continue using these supplies for upcoming writing assignments, reading responses, and projects throughout the trimester. Having these resources available ensures that students can focus on developing their ideas, improving their writing skills, and participating fully in classroom activities.","fullyFundedDate":1755928773491,"projectUrl":"project/publishing-authors/9443200/","projectTitle":"Publishing Authors","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8553953"},{"teacherId":8553953,"projectId":9520500,"letterContent":"Many of our donors love reading books just as much as we do, but may not always see what teaching with books looks like in a classroom. In our 7th grade English class, students use these new books to practice important literacy skills such as making inferences, identifying themes, analyzing characters, and supporting their ideas with evidence from the text. These skills help students become stronger readers, writers, and critical thinkers.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom often looks like students selecting books that interest them, reading independently or in small groups, and then discussing their ideas with classmates. Students share connections they make to the story, ask questions, and reflect on what they've learned. Having access to a variety of books makes these conversations more engaging because students feel invested in what they are reading.\r\n\r\nSome students who were previously hesitant about reading are now excited to pick up a book during reading time because they can find something that matches their interests and reading level. Seeing students become more confident and eager to read has been one of the most meaningful impacts of this donation. Your generosity is helping build both skills and a love of reading in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1764598437823,"projectUrl":"project/building-our-classroom-library/9520500/","projectTitle":"Building Our Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8553953"},{"teacherId":4957778,"projectId":9722726,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to support my classroom. These new novels have allowed my students to collaborate on novel studies that pique their interest. The novels are currently being used to complete their trimester two book reports. The students will be able to identify plot elements, theme, and setting of each story. \r\n\r\nThese novels will also support student engagement. Far too often, students skip independent reading because they cannot find interesting books. With the addition of these books to my classroom library, my students have much more to choose from. Your kindness has brought so much joy and excitement to our classroom!\r\n\r\nThe magnetic whiteboard has truly changed the way we learn together. I use it every day for lessons, and the students love coming up to the board to share their ideas, solve problems, and participate in activities. It's made teaching and learning so much more interactive and engaging.\r\n\r\nOur new collection of Dog Man books has also been a huge hit! The students can't get enough of them — even some of my more reluctant readers are eager to grab a book and read. It's wonderful to see how much fun they're having with reading.\r\n\r\nThe reading highlight strips and pencil grips have been so helpful for my students who need a little extra support. These small tools make a big difference in helping them feel confident and comfortable while they read and write.\r\n\r\nAnd the flexible chairs have completely transformed our classroom! The students love being able to choose a seat that helps them focus and feel comfortable.
