Because of your contributions, my students now have access to resources that have truly transformed our learning environment. We have already begun using the new materials in our daily lessons, and one standout moment was during a recent hands-on project where students collaborated to apply what they've learned in a creative way. The resources allowed them to explore concepts more deeply, and I could see their confidence grow as they engaged with the material.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new supplies, their excitement was immediate and contagious. Many of them were eager to jump right in, asking questions and sharing ideas with their classmates. It was incredibly rewarding to witness their enthusiasm and curiosity come alive. These materials have not only made learning more interactive but have also helped foster a stronger sense of community and teamwork in our classroom.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we are building on this momentum by continuing our current lessons with more student-driven projects. The next step is for students to use these resources to develop their own ideas and present their learning in meaningful ways. Your generosity has opened the door to new opportunities, and we are excited to keep exploring, creating, and growing together. My class got very excited with their new books and helped me to get organize and they labeled each book for our class! Our library is helping my students build stamina, which is helping them to build vocabulary. Since my students are learning Spanish and content in Spanish, vocabulary is key for comprehension. In January, we started a goal: Bring up our reading stamina. I am very proud of my students because they reached their goal of reading for at least 20 consecutive minutes without distractions for three sessions. During reading time, I see students focused on their stories and enjoying their new books. \r\n\r\nThis month, students are working on context clues and are building a \"personal dictionary\". As my students read, they are finding unknown words and inferring meaning based on context. Your donation is making a huge impact on their reading journey. Our reading sessions are calm and I see students submerged in their texts. In addition, since we reached our stamina goal, this month we will be challenging ourselves and bring up our stamina reading goal: 4 reading sessions of 20 consecutive minutes without distractions. \r\nThank you for your support! With these poster printers, students will be able to design and produce socially responsible posters that advocate for causes that matter to them—amplifying their voices while building critical thinking, communication, and civic awareness skills. This project also expands access to digital media tools, allowing students to enhance their learning through visual storytelling and design.\r\n\r\nThe printers will empower our teachers to bring lessons to life through engaging anchor charts, historical timelines, bilingual and culturally relevant materials, and inspiring visuals that strengthen classroom culture. Visual learning tools help students better understand content, retain information, and remain actively engaged.\r\n\r\nBeyond the classroom, the printers will serve as a shared resource across both school campuses. Counselors will use them for mental health awareness campaigns, staff will create clear wayfinding and school-wide communications, and student clubs will design posters for events and outreach. Every hallway and learning space will reflect creativity, equity, and purpose.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your support in funding this project and for helping us provide two printers to serve both campuses. Now, all of our supplies for art projects, writing, and math are clearly organized and easily accessible to every student. They drew images that reflect what is important to them and then used their artwork to inspire artist statements that shared who they are and what they value. These meaningful self-portraits were proudly displayed at our Family Event, where we celebrated the diversity within our school community.\r\n The students were beyond thrilled when they first saw the art supplies! To be fair, this is a valid question; if you've never seen the value in storing your work and notes besides as a resource for exams, then this makes sense. To this day, I don't think I've done the best job in fully explaining why we should store our solutions, or even how to study using these collections in our binders.
