These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by increasing the focus in class for those students who do not have to capability to sit still. Not only are they in first grade and have a difficult time sitting still, but truly some have more difficulty than others and I have already noticed they are not focused on their work because they are too busy moving in their chair or even tilting their chair. I would like to give my students a safe seating option in order for them to be focusing on their academic work. I would hate to see my students tilting chairs because they cannot sit still and possibly getting hurt. They are in school to learn and my job is not only to teach my students, but also to keep them safe.
