We are now in our sixth week of school. We have been frequently using our new supplies! The supply caddies house our crayons and colored pencils. Students use these caddies daily to organize their supplies. We use our whiteboards all the time! Students use the whiteboards to practice their handwriting, numbers, letters, and shapes. The whiteboard zip-bags are wonderful to store our whiteboards and dry-erase markers.\r\n\r\nThe Kindergarteners are always excited to use the different fine-motor tools during center time. They practice their grip and dexterity when doing the lacing and sorting activities. They use the play-doh tools to cut, roll, and shape play-doh. This all helps with building their hand strength to become better writers. \r\n\r\nWe are currently working on writing numbers 1-20 and the letters of the alphabet. The magnetic letters are helping emerging writers trace each letter part. I plan on using these magnetic letters in my small group instruction soon.
