The play food my students had been using was very old and really needed replacing. Everyone was really excited to get their hands on the new pretend food, and they've had a blast using it during Free Choice time.\r\n\r\nOver the years, more and more time in our kindergarten day has been filled with worksheets and paper/pencil activities. Students now have far less time to explore, create, and play on their own in kindergarten.
