Your kindness, generosity, and support mean so much to both my students and me. Donations like yours make a direct and meaningful impact on our classroom every single day, and we are incredibly thankful for your investment in our learning community.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I strive to create a classroom environment where students feel supported, engaged, and excited to learn. Having access to a reliable classroom printer will help make that possible in so many ways. This printer is more than just a piece of technology — it is a valuable tool that will allow me to better support my students academically, creatively, and socially throughout the school year.\r\n\r\nIn second grade, students are constantly growing as readers, writers, mathematicians, and problem-solvers. Every day, we use a variety of materials to support hands-on learning, small group instruction, collaborative projects, and differentiated activities. With this printer, I will be able to quickly prepare learning resources tailored to my students' needs, whether that includes reading passages, math practice, writing templates, graphic organizers, classroom visuals, or enrichment activities.\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest benefits of this donation is the ability to better support small group learning. Small group instruction is such an important part of second grade because it allows students to receive personalized support and targeted practice at their individual learning levels. Having a classroom printer means I can easily create and print materials specifically designed for each group of learners, helping students build confidence and strengthen their skills in a meaningful way.\r\n\r\nThis printer will also support creativity and student engagement in our classroom. My students love completing interactive activities, creating projects, publishing their writing, and participating in collaborative learning experiences. Being able to print resources and student work efficiently will help make learning more exciting, organized, and accessible for everyone. It will also allow students to take pride in their work by giving them opportunities to share and celebrate their learning.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, your generosity sends a powerful message to my students: that there are people who care about their education and believe in their success. Many students may not always realize how much support and encouragement exists beyond the walls of our classroom, and donations like yours help remind them that their learning matters. Your kindness helps create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel valued and motivated to do their best.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for helping provide resources that will truly enhance our classroom experience. Your support will have a lasting impact on my students throughout the year, and we are deeply grateful for your contribution. Because of you, our classroom will continue to be a place filled with learning, creativity, growth, and opportunity.","fullyFundedDate":1769177623561,"projectUrl":"project/printing-possibilities-for-my-creative-y/9874120/","projectTitle":"Printing Possibilities for My Creative Young Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Perez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9098025_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753130817718","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9098025"},{"teacherId":2065702,"projectId":10147382,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom project and helping us get a class set of The Lightning Thief. Having a class set meant every student could fully participate, follow along together, and be part of our daily discussions. Students looked forward to finding out what would happen next and were constantly making predictions, asking questions, and talking about the characters.\r\n\r\nThis book has helped us work on important reading skills like comprehension, using text evidence, understanding character traits, and identifying themes. It also opened the door to learning about Greek mythology, which many students found especially interesting and fun. Several students who rarely volunteered during discussions are now eager to share their ideas and theories about the story. Others have already asked about reading the next books in the Percy Jackson series independently, which is exactly the kind of lifelong love of reading I hope to inspire.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher at a Title I school, I truly appreciate your support. This project has helped foster a genuine love of reading in our classroom by giving students access to engaging, appropriately leveled texts that build both confidence, pride and independence.\r\n\r\nAs a child I grew up with a love for reading. In my classroom these leveled books help transform that love into essential early literacy skills. Students practice decoding strategies, strengthen sight word recognition, and build fluency through repeated exposure to accessible texts. They also develop comprehension skills and retelling events. Students are now able to experience success while still being challenged.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is structured, purposeful, and joyful. After students complete their morning journals, each table group is assigned a book for a 3–5 minute silent reading period. During this time, students practice focus and independence. When time is up, tables rotate books, which keeps engagement high and exposes students to a variety of texts. Students love this routine, and many choose to read quietly alongside a partner, offering support and encouragement as they go.\r\n\r\nIt has been especially meaningful to see the growth in students who were once hesitant readers. Now, they eagerly participate, celebrate recognizing familiar words, and take pride in helping their peers. Partner pairs work together to navigate tricky parts of the text, building both confidence and collaboration. These books have not only strengthened foundational reading skills but have also helped create a classroom environment where students are excited to read, share, and grow as learners.","fullyFundedDate":1776099095651,"projectUrl":"project/unlock-the-magic-of-books-for-little-lea/10130473/","projectTitle":"Unlock the Magic of Books for Little Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6624684_orig.jpg?crop=444,444,x35,y65&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1708623958699","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missbrown26"},{"teacherId":7377937,"projectId":9926572,"letterContent":"The impact of this donation has gone above anything I could have imagined. The end of the year is a tough time because students are tired from testing but so antsy because the weather is perfect and the promise of summer are within reach. However, as soon as testing finished, we jumped right into our \"Bud Not Buddy\" novel study. My students were eager to meet Bud, through book club letters and activities, challenging them to make inferences, identify key details and ideas, identify theme, and summarize each chapter efficiently and effectively. The level of engagement during these activities is nothing like I've seen before, considering students have struggled with these concepts before.
