We started using it during our Trigonometry chapter. I normally have our students in groups of 4. During independent time I moved the whiteboard to each group once a day. Some groups used the board more than others. My AVID students really used the group because they said it gave \"Tutorial Vibes.\" Other students would stand up and actually point to the board to help a friend. I have also used the board to highlight specific theorems in chapter 10 (Circles). It was particularly helpful to explain how we derive the standard equation of a circle using Pythagorean theorem. I was able to move around the room with the whiteboard to avoid the glare from the sun. I love that this board is mobile!\r\n\r\n\r\nI love that I have a mobile whiteboard to communicate to my students this year. I hope that I can learn to use the white board to have my students communicate to each other. I want to build a classroom where students feel empowered to help one other. I will need to explore ideas on how STUDENTS can feel as comfortable with the whiteboard as I do. They need to see it as another tool.
