At my high school, we have a mental health pathway program that students upon completion will be awarded a mental health pathway certificate and honor cord. The pathway includes service hours with a mental health club on campus, course work related to mental health (including Sociology and AP Psychology) and certification of Youth Mental Health First Aid via training. Upon completion, I would like to award a certificate of completion and honor cord for graduation. At graduation, our school will recognize these graduates at a Senior Honor Ceremony, plus being able to wear the lime cord at graduation that will show their accomplishment publicly.
