The first delay was because of my health issues and hospitalization. The second delay was the Altadena fires that impacted several of my family members. \r\n\r\nHaving a place for my students to decompress, de-escalate, and regulate their little bodies when upset or over-stimulated requires age-appropriate equipment for Early Childhood Development. Unfortunately, this equipment is not always in a teacher's budget. \r\n\r\nAfter receiving the donations, we created a calming, quiet corner with a cute tent and all the materials sent by Donor's Choose. \r\n\r\nThe next day after the setup, the students walked into the classroom and were excited to have a new area to be in.
