My students struggle with attentional issues and are frequently confined by traditional classroom furniture. I want to create a classroom environment that is more comfortable and conducive to learning for all my students. Flexible seating options like wobble chairs offer greater ease of movement around the classroom for both students and teacher. Wobble chairs are not only more comfortable, they give active students a chance to move in their seat, rock forward as needed, and even stretch and strengthen core muscles. I believe classroom furniture can have a huge impact on student engagement and students' sense of comfort in the classroom, which is directly related to learning. I've seen first-hand the positive effects of flexible seating.
