The fruit snacks and Goldfish were a nice treat for students to have in the afternoons as they got their work done. The Champion Sports plastic scoop ball sets have helped us have more coordinated and structured PE time. Students get to pick their color and partner, and this also gives them practice with gross motor skills. Some students are great at catching, while others need more practice. My students have been practicing their jump roping skills with the class set of jump ropes. It is amazing to see which students have gross motor skills and can jump rope. Some students need more practice with grammar, so the correct the sentence workbooks are great for them. Other students need more support with sight words, so the daily sight word journals are good for them to master 2-3 sight words each week. The daily language practice workbooks are for those students who need a little more support in reading, correct the sentence, grammar and vocabulary. The students took notes on decomposers, producers, and consumers that we found on and around our campus. \r\nThe children were excited to take make observations, since we do not usually go out to take notes. \r\n\r\nThe copy paper and notebooks were also very welcome because I ran out of both towards the end of the year.
