With your donation, I was able to purchase fun erasers, lego animals, and squishy pets as well as some fun playdough and dot markers for toy time. My studens earn play coins for every assignments that they finish. They then save up their money and purchase prizes from the treasure chest every Friday. This is a great way for students to learn about money and saving. Treasure chest is also an extra motivator for finishing assingments and great behavior. The perler beads have been used by all students and they are excited to finally have the colors they want. We use the hand sanitizer, Clorox and baby wipes, and Kleenex on a regular basis, and these all come in so handy during cold and flue season. The kids are great about wiping their own chairs and desks with baby wipes. They also are free to get tissue whenever they need it. We sanitize hands before going outside, and coming back inside. I personally love pre-sharpened pencils as my least favorite teacher prep activity is sharpening pencils. The popcorn has been a huge hit with my students. We used the make your own sticker faces: dinosaurs, robots and holiday themed to make creative writing and get students more interested in making longer and more detailed stories. All the students at our school are loving having all these balls to use at recess, lunch, and at PE. My students are really getting into soccer, and as the warm weather continues, they are able to use the soccer field to play with their friends. Some of the students are on soccer teams, and are quite good at playing and knowing the rules. The rainbow playground balls are great for the students who are just learning how to play pogo, four square and two square. These balls are lighter and bounce easier than the typical pogo balls. The dot stickers are used to help me see which students turn in homework or not.
