My students are kindergartners who love physical activity, and music and movement of any kind. I introduced them to yoga, and they love it. They enjoy getting all their energy out on the playground, and using the tricycles and wagon during P.E. and recess. Our school is located in east San Jose, and has 507 students enrolled in grades K through 5th. Eighty-four percent of our students are low-income and qualify for free or reduced lunch.
