Helping ten of our school's low-income families experience the joy of a Thanksgiving meal by supporting a student-led food drive. In our community, where hard-working families often prioritize necessities over holiday celebrations, this project was crucial. My students took the lead, learning responsibility and empathy as they organized, packed, and distributed ten complete meal baskets.
