Thanks to your kindness, we have received a wonderful collection of books, and I am incredibly thankful for your support.\r\nThe school year has just begun, and already my new students are diving into our newly expanded library. It's been a joy to see their excitement as they explore the diverse range of books available to them. These resources are not only enriching their educational experience but also nurturing a love for reading.\r\nWhat's even more heartening is that students from last year are returning to check out books. Their continued interest in reading speaks volumes about the lasting impact these books have on their learning journey.\r\nI am eagerly anticipating the growth in my students' literacy skills. With access to these books, they have the opportunity to exercise their brains, develop reading automaticity, and enhance their prosody. I am confident that their literacy scores will reflect the benefits of this exposure.\r\nOnce again, thank you to all the donors. Your generosity is making a real difference in our classroom, and I am truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1778505065349,"projectUrl":"project/readers-make-leaders/10239860/","projectTitle":"Readers Make Leaders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Thomas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10488451_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1778193808499","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10488451"},{"teacherId":5043352,"projectId":9986397,"letterContent":"Thank You for Supporting Our Readers!\r\nYour generous donation has already made a meaningful difference in our classroom! My students are using the new reading manipulatives and spinners to practice sight words in a fun, hands-on way. Instead of simply memorizing words, students can interact with the material, practice reading the words repeatedly, and build confidence as they learn.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite moments was watching students use the spinners to choose a sight word, then find and read it with the manipulatives. They were excited to take turns, cheer each other on, and celebrate when they recognized a word independently. The materials made reading practice feel more like a game than a lesson, which helped keep my young learners engaged and motivated.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were eager to see what was inside and immediately wanted to explore them. Their excitement made it clear that these resources would become a valuable part of our classroom learning. Our next step is to continue building sight-word recognition and fluency. Students will use the manipulatives and spinners during small-group instruction, partner practice, and literacy centers. As they become more confident with their sight words, they will begin using those words in sentences and applying their skills while reading books.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make learning more engaging and giving my students tools that encourage them to practice, participate, and grow as readers.
