Our fifth graders at both schools have absolutely loved this project, and your support made it possible for them to dive into something creative, meaningful, and truly their own.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the supplies arrived, students were buzzing with ideas. They were incredibly engaged in researching, sketching, and brainstorming what images they wanted to create. The autonomy to design their own artist trading cards was empowering for them, and it showed in the focus and enthusiasm they brought to every class. They were also delighted—and a little surprised—by the examples made by teachers in the building. Seeing adults participate made the project feel even more special and collaborative.\r\n\r\nThe colored Sharpies and precut trading cards were a huge hit. Students adored having high‑quality materials to work with, and they are already begging for more. These small but mighty supplies opened the door for big creativity, and the pride they felt in their finished cards was unmistakable.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful moments happened when a homeschooled student, who only comes to our building for specials, arrived just in time to join the project. The artist trading cards became a bridge for him—an easy, natural way to exchange ideas and artwork with new friends. Watching him connect with classmates through creativity was a reminder of how powerful art can be in building community.\r\n\r\nYour generosity didn't just provide materials; it created opportunities—for expression, for confidence, for connection. Thank you for believing in our students and supporting the work we do in the art room. Your gift made a real difference, and we are deeply grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1755361924852,"projectUrl":"project/tiny-canvases-big-creativity-artist-t/9522713/","projectTitle":"Tiny Canvases, Big Creativity – Artist Trading Cards for Kids!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Combs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1761786_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720591622341","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1761786"},{"teacherId":3724412,"projectId":9857566,"letterContent":"My students were so excited to receive the new loops, looms, and bags. They had a great time organizing the loops by color and size. The bags have made it easier for them to design new potholders and find the colors they want. \r\n\r\nMy students have really enjoyed having the new materials for this project. We have completed 66 potholders so far with the new materials. We were able to donate them to our district's food pantry during the annual canned food drive. \r\n\r\nI truly appreciate having the loops and looms for the students to work with. With your help, our students were able to create more than 150 potholders—an effort they took great pride in. They enjoyed the experience so much that we've continued the project into this year.\r\n\r\nThe students were thrilled to receive the new \"fancy\" loops, especially the bright, vibrant colors that made their creations even more exciting. The addition of seven new looms has been especially impactful, allowing every student to work simultaneously. This not only made the project more engaging but also fostered a strong sense of teamwork and inclusion.\r\n\r\nAs their teacher, I've seen a noticeable improvement in their fine motor skills and focus, and I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity your support has provided.","fullyFundedDate":1742248194293,"projectUrl":"project/weaving-art-and-financial-success/8989020/","projectTitle":"Weaving Art and Financial Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Taunton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3724412_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1476211293133","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3724412"},{"teacherId":1761786,"projectId":9563886,"letterContent":"The wobble stools, flower pillows, and wobble cushions have already been an amazing success in our classroom!
