Each item may seem small, but together these resources have helped create a classroom environment where students have the tools they need to be successful.\r\n\r\nThe thin-tip markers have already been used for so many AVID projects and activities. My students use them to create colorful one-pagers, WICOR projects, posters, focused notes, and other learning activities. Having access to quality markers allows students to express their ideas creatively while taking pride in their finished work.\r\n\r\nOur pencil sharpener has quickly become one of our most-used classroom tools. We like to say that it helps us \"keep us sharp and ready to learn!\" Students can sharpen their pencils independently and return to their work without missing valuable instructional time.\r\n\r\nThe glass wipes have been especially beneficial for students who wear glasses, including me! Being able to keep glasses clean throughout the school day helps students see their work, Chromebook screens, presentations, and the whiteboard more clearly.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic strips have helped us stay organized by keeping important materials and information securely displayed on our whiteboard. This has made our classroom routines more efficient and helps students know where to find what they need.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these supplies have helped my 6th graders feel prepared, supported, and proud of their classroom. Touch typing is an essential lifelong skill that benefits students regardless of the career path they choose. The students were excited to receive new keyboards, which made practicing more engaging and enjoyable.
