On the day of our visit, they proudly delivered the bracelets, letters, and donated food to the veterans and elderly community members.\r\n\r\nThe moment my students met the recipients was truly special. They were thrilled—and a little nervous at first—but their excitement quickly turned into pure joy as they saw how much their gifts meant. The smiles, hugs, and conversations shared that day left a lasting impression on everyone. Many students were surprised to see just how happy the veterans were to receive something handmade and personal. They didn't want to leave!\r\n\r\nThis experience helped my students understand the power of kindness and community service. They realized that even small acts can make a big difference in someone's life. Our next goal is to continue these service projects throughout the year—creating more opportunities for our students to connect with and support people in their community.
