While many donors use headphones at home for music or entertainment, in our classroom they are powerful instructional tools. Students use them to listen to read-aloud texts, follow along with digital passages, hear modeled fluency, and access audio directions and feedback. This has been especially helpful during literacy instruction, where hearing academic vocabulary pronounced correctly and listening to passages multiple times strengthens comprehension and confidence.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting for students is the sense of independence the headphones provide. They are able to work at their own pace without distractions and without worrying about background noise. Students love being able to replay instructions or listen to a passage again to make sure they understand. It has created a calmer, more focused learning environment, and students take pride in managing their own learning space.\r\n\r\nSeveral students in particular have truly benefited. One of my focus students, who works hard to build confidence and needs strong positive reinforcement before accepting corrections, has shown growth in both independence and willingness to revise his work. Being able to privately listen to feedback and model responses has helped him feel supported rather than singled out. Other students who are easily distracted or who benefit from hearing text read aloud have also shown noticeable improvement in engagement and comprehension. Your donation of headphones may seem simple, but it has made a meaningful difference in how our students learn, focus, and grow each day.","fullyFundedDate":1761700744920,"projectUrl":"project/tune-in-to-learning/9852858/","projectTitle":"Tune in to Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hamilton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7904808_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x358,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762201928975","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7904808"},{"teacherId":7467759,"projectId":9117460,"letterContent":"It is incredible to see the difference this project is already making in our classrooms.
