The supplies arrived ahead of time, and they have already been very useful in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe zipper pouches are large enough to hold different types of supplies. Instead of using them for headphones, since the school headphones already have their own bags, I use the pouches to hold assignments for students who have been absent. Each pouch can fit up to two books, which is perfect when students miss school because they can have their own pouch with the work they need to complete.\r\n\r\nThe disinfectant wipes have helped us keep the classroom clean. Students use them to wipe tables, chairs, and boards.\r\n\r\nThe pencil boxes are being used not only for students' personal supplies but also to store the base-ten blocks that we use often in class.\r\n\r\nThe water bottles are still unused because the school provided students with water bottles. I plan to keep these as backups or give them to the students as gifts since we have extras.\r\n\r\nAs a new teacher in this district, I did not know what resources and support were available in the community. Now I know that there are people who are willing to support the school and our students. This has been a heartwarming realization for me. Our school is truly blessed to be surrounded by people who care about the students.","fullyFundedDate":1782754189810,"projectUrl":"project/start-it-right/10302556/","projectTitle":"Start It Right","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fannie Hunt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7536320_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y416&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1779387382529","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7536320"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_61506","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":103,"numTeachers":5,"percentFrplEligible":45,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":4,"percentIndigenous":72,"percentLatinx":19,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"20.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":22.7,"schoolId":61506,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Valentine Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Valentine Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/valentine-elementary-school-district-22/valentine-elementary-school/61506"}
