They painted glowing galaxy scenes with the neon paints, and we turned on the black lights to watch their artwork light up. The Model Magic was perfect for sculpting aliens, and students added cool patterns and details using the Sharpies. The yarn has been great for weaving projects, helping students practice patterns and fine motor skills. The utility cart has made it so much easier to move clay projects to the kiln without worrying about them breaking.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when they first saw all the materials. When the black lights came on and their neon paintings started to glow, there were lots of gasps and cheers. Many of them had never seen their art light up before, and they couldn't stop talking about how cool it was. It was amazing to see how proud they were of their work.\r\n\r\nNext, we will be working on an entirely new set of art lessons for all students Kinder-5th grade.
