They painted glowing galaxy scenes with the neon paints, and we turned on the black lights to watch their artwork light up. The Model Magic was perfect for sculpting aliens, and students added cool patterns and details using the Sharpies. The yarn has been great for weaving projects, helping students practice patterns and fine motor skills. The utility cart has made it so much easier to move clay projects to the kiln without worrying about them breaking.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when they first saw all the materials. When the black lights came on and their neon paintings started to glow, there were lots of gasps and cheers. Many of them had never seen their art light up before, and they couldn't stop talking about how cool it was. It was amazing to see how proud they were of their work.\r\n\r\nNext, we will be working on an entirely new set of art lessons for all students Kinder-5th grade. They will continue painting, sculpting, weaving, paper macheing, and so much more!","fullyFundedDate":1746786298708,"projectUrl":"project/our-art-will-be-out-of-this-world/9140515/","projectTitle":"Our Art Will Be Out of This World!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Suhm","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9002485_orig.jpg?crop=1440,1440,x0,y115&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1694639624936","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9002485"},{"teacherId":9278481,"projectId":7841436,"letterContent":"I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible generosity and support. The supplies you provided to my classroom—white boards, manipulatives, posters, pencils, and behavior supports—have made a meaningful and immediate impact on my students and our learning environment. Your kindness has not only helped meet basic classroom needs but has also created new opportunities for student engagement, learning, and growth.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donations, my students now have access to individual white boards, which we use daily in almost every subject. These boards have transformed our classroom into an interactive space where students feel more confident taking risks and sharing their thinking. Whether we're working through math problems, spelling new vocabulary words, or participating in quick review games, the white boards have made learning more engaging and hands-on.\r\n\r\nThe manipulatives have been especially helpful in building a deeper understanding of math concepts. Being able to physically move and explore numbers has benefited all of my students, especially those who learn best through tactile and visual methods. From base-ten blocks to fraction tiles, your contributions are helping students grasp abstract concepts with clarity and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe posters you provided are now proudly displayed around the classroom, adding color, motivation, and useful information to our walls. These visual aids are not only helpful learning tools but also create a warm, inviting, and stimulating atmosphere. They serve as constant reminders of important strategies, rules, and positive affirmations that keep students motivated throughout the day.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not gone unnoticed. Every time a student reaches for a white board, solves a problem using manipulatives, earns a behavior reward, or simply writes with a pencil that you helped provide, your impact is felt. You've helped create a classroom where students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn. As a teacher, I couldn't ask for more.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students and myself, thank you again for believing in the importance of education and for choosing to invest in our classroom. Your kindness has made a lasting difference, and we are deeply grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1694976454748,"projectUrl":"project/accessible-learning-for-all/7841436/","projectTitle":"Accessible Learning for All","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9278481"},{"teacherId":7490495,"projectId":8943186,"letterContent":"Thank you for all of your support with our classrooms' needs!\r\n\r\nThe students had the opportunity to use the resource tables for the second semester and the easy availability of materials helped reduce the number of class-wide interruptions as well as help student work on mastering self- reliance and independence.\r\n\r\nThe hanging file box makes it easy to make a packet of previously used materials and resources for new students who transfer into the classroom while the extra copies of music are available for any students who lose their materials or need a new one.","fullyFundedDate":1739373206798,"projectUrl":"project/student-resource-table-materials/8943186/","projectTitle":"Student Resource Table Materials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Parris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7490495_orig.jpg?crop=1079,1079,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1598577488759","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7490495"},{"teacherId":7490495,"projectId":8702203,"letterContent":"Thank you again for your support in buying new storage for the orchestra program at our school!\r\n\r\nAs you can see in the pictures, the old shelf was very skinny - only 12\" depth which created unsafe storage conditions for the instruments.
