My students need to feel comfortable. They deserve to have a nice carpet to sit on. Students are more careful and proud of their work when they feel I am giving them something nice or something that has thought put into it. Many of my students are from disadvantaged backgrounds but they deserve to have a nice classroom. These kids deserve a teacher that wants to show them how much they can achieve. Making something look nice places an importance on it. I want my students to see coming to school as important to their well being.
