The new mirrorless cameras and zoom lenses are expensive, but the students love how they can take photos faster and put us in the middle of the action for capturing the moments that matter.\r\n\r\nOne of the great innovations with the mirrorless cameras is \"silent mode,\" meaning we can take photos without making noise at quieter events such as school plays or choir concerts. They are already discussing ways to use this for making short movies, taking photos of things such as marching band formations from the air and getting creative shots of the school for photo and video projects.
