Before this project, the light table was simply a glowing surface that students occasionally looked at. Now, with the addition of the light table tray and colorful window blocks, it has transformed into a true exploration center where students can build, sort, stack, and discover. Our students love placing the translucent blocks on the illuminated surface and watching the colors shine and overlap. Many of our students have significant developmental delays, so experiences that combine visual stimulation with hands-on learning are incredibly meaningful for them.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were immediately drawn to the bright colors and glowing blocks. There were smiles, curious hands reaching out, and lots of excited exploration. Moments like these are powerful because they encourage communication, joint attention, and fine motor development—important goals for our learners.\r\n\r\nWe are continuing to expand how we use the light table in our daily routines.
