The crash pad, weighted plush, fidgets, and sensory tools have been game-changers—students who were previously overwhelmed can now calm themselves independently and return to learning ready to focus.\r\n\r\nThe soft seating and visual timers have helped students manage transitions and understand structure, while board games, movement activities, and sports equipment have made lessons on turn-taking, communication, and perseverance hands-on and fun. One of my students, who often struggled with frustration during group games, recently led a team activity without getting upset when things didn't go as planned—something I wouldn't have expected before this space.\r\n\r\nOur SEL books, growth mindset stories, and puppets have opened doors to conversations about emotions, empathy, and understanding differences. Students are excited to share what they're learning and often refer to strategies from the calming corner throughout the day, showing real progress in self-awareness and emotional control.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide materials—it gave students confidence, independence, and a safe place to grow.
