They learned to use the different measuring tools to achieve hems and cut out large swatches of fabric. They learned how to cut out patterns. They learned how to sew on 4 holed, 2 holed and shank buttons. \r\n\r\nThey completed a 5 step project that included following written directions to create 5 different patterns. They then had to cut out each piece and continue to follow written directions to complete 4 projects. They had to do all of the stitches they learned. They sewing on multiple buttons. They each made their own pin cushion. Finally, they made bags to hold plastic bags. This donation helped my students so much!
