With your funding I was able to purchase two reading chairs and an area rug for my classroom library. \r\n\r\nBoth items were specifically picked to reinforce the expectation in my classroom. The chairs were picked because they differ from the classroom chairs that are provided. This reinforces the expectation that the classroom chairs are for when we are participating in a lesson while these new ones are specifically for reading (plus they're adjustable).\r\n\r\nThe image on the carpet was intentional as well because it reinforces the expectation for that area in a non-verbal way. There is no mistaking the intention for the space.
