Some of my students are struggling readers, and they use a program called Epic to improve. They can listen to an audiobook with the words on the page highlighted to get extra support. This helps me meet students exactly where they are and keep lessons moving smoothly.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is seeing their hard work come to life. They love receiving freshly printed AR certificates, colorful project pages, and personalized learning materials with their names on them. It makes their achievements feel official and celebrated.\r\n\r\nSome of my struggling readers have especially benefited. Being able to print modified passages with larger text, highlighted vocabulary, or extra support has helped build their confidence. The entire class cheered it was such a powerful moment of encouragement and community.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their eyes lit up with excitement. They immediately started talking about the books they were going to read and the goals they wanted to reach. The rewards have created a renewed sense of motivation and friendly competition that keeps them engaged and focused.\r\n\r\nNext, we are continuing to set individual reading goals and track progress as a class. Students are working on strengthening comprehension skills, increasing reading stamina, and exploring new genres. What I loved was that my students were supporting each other when it wasn't their turn to bowl.
