We used these coolies in an experiment to see and talk about Buoyancy in a every day items like cookies. We did \"The Great Cookie Dunk\" which showed my students how even cookies have different buoyancy in liquid. They were amazed that Oreo, Nutter Butter, Chips Aho, and Nilla wafers have differences in their make up. They thought that the cookies with a filling would sink. When the only cookie that sank was the Chips Ahoy. They couldn't believe it and some tried to push them down but they wouldn't sink. As my students examined each cookie they started to see and identify the differences in their make up. As we talked about what they saw they better understood how come some cookies float and some cookies sink.\r\n When I pulled out the supplies all of my students were so surprised that I had cookies.
