Your generosity has brought something truly special into our classroom. The wobble stools are used every single minute of every single day and I think my students would happily tell you that we need about 20 more! The stools have made such a difference in helping my students move, stay engaged, and focus while they learn.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite parts, though, has been watching my students take ownership of the stools themselves. Since we don't have enough for everyone to use one whenever they want, they have completely come up with their own system for sharing. Students have started advocating for what they need - a big word we use often in our classroom. I have heard students say things like, \"I need it later in the day,\" and then work out a trade with a classmate so they can switch halfway through the day, the next day, or rotate with the students sitting nearby. They have created their own little rotation system, and it is absolutely adorable!\r\n\r\nWatching eight and nine year olds communicate, compromise, problem-solve, and advocate for themselves has been one of the most unexpected and wonderful outcomes of your donation. You didn't just give my students wobble stools, you gave them another opportunity to practice important life skills while making our classroom a more comfortable and engaging place to learn.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and for investing in our classroom.
