They were surprised to see tables in the music room as we have been using the floor as our writing space for years, but are excited to use them. \r\n\r\nWe have been focusing on creating music patterns through words and images. The students are enjoying being able to write on the tables and easily see their work. They often write on their desks in the gen ed classrooms, but the woodgrain tops make it hard to see. Our whiteboard tables are a definite upgrade. Sharing team ideas is much more productive when they can easily see what their teammates have been working on. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the tables are enabling students to sit up and focus on their tasks, which is making our teaming procedures work more smoothly. There are fewer arguments about sharing space, since each student has plenty of their own. The supply caddies are keeping us neat and organized, with all of our teaming resources within easy reach. We are excited to see what the rest of the year holds as we team up for music learning!
