It is so interesting to watch them learn customer service with REAL customers, and troubleshoot problems in REAL time. There are moving parts and processes that are completely new to them and creating the perfect cup of coffee is truly a craft. Something they thought would be very simple has created a deeper interest in them. These students want to get better at these simple skills while learning new ones. Next, they will be seam ripping and cutting up at garment to use as a pattern for the garment they will make by hand. Some students that were not in my class came out and checked themselves in the UV light to find splatters of glow germ on them too!
