Writing is a creative way to express one's self and an alternative method to demonstrate what a student knows about a certain subject. Our students are bright and have so much that they want to share. However, for some of our students who receive special education services, they struggle with not only writing, but typing as well. Being able to have access to a Speech-to-Text software would allow our students to flourish in their academics and not feel overwhelmed by all the writing assignments they receive on a weekly basis. Purchasing at least four of these software items would assist our total class of 26 students, averaging about 9 students per period, to complete their school work.

About my class
