I have coordinated with a teacher that specializes in student success and support. She is using the cursive writing books to engage students who are struggling in school, and teaching them another skill they can use to improve their learning and be more ready to enter the adult world. The students were very excited to learn that they would be taught how to write in cursive. Students who are not in the class have approached the teacher, asking if they can be taught how to write in cursive as well. We very well may have started a movement here!\r\n\r\nAs I watched the students work on their lesson today, I saw the faces of young people who were eager to learn this skill, and deeply focused on mastering cursive writing so that they can move forward in their studies with a new skill at their disposal.
