We use the materials as part of our morning routine, giving students a chance to explore, build, and problem-solve before we begin our academic lessons. One of my favorite moments was watching a group of students work together to design a structure that could hold the most weight. They tested, adjusted, and encouraged each other the entire time—it was amazing to see their teamwork and perseverance in action.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were beyond excited. There were lots of smiles, gasps, and immediate questions about when they could start using everything. They couldn't wait to dive in, and even my more hesitant learners quickly became engaged once they started exploring.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are continuing to build their critical thinking and collaboration skills. Our next steps include connecting these STEM activities to our math and science standards, such as applying measurement, data collection, and simple engineering design. We are also starting to reflect more on our designs—what worked, what didn't, and how we can improve. Your generosity has truly made a lasting impact on our classroom, and I am so grateful for the opportunities it has provided my students.","fullyFundedDate":1717993945834,"projectUrl":"project/good-morning-with-stem/8428842/","projectTitle":"Good Morning with STEM","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Small","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9426051_orig.png?crop=409,410,x0,y46&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1717098495826","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9426051"},{"teacherId":7111408,"projectId":9543187,"letterContent":"My students have been very excited to get more hands on manipulatives printed in vibrant colors.
