This project allowed me to purchase three stem buddy benches, composition notebooks, and four cases of paper. These benches are placed where students can sit on them and work on their projects. Under the bench are cubbies where students can store their pencil boxes, composition notebooks, and supplies. \r\n My students were so excited to see the benches when they were finally put together! They all wanted to sit there and work collaboratively with a partner or small group. They use it for just about every content area... reading, language, science, social studies, and math. This is the \"place to be\" in our classroom and my former students that stop in to visit are jealous and want to know why I didn't have those benches in the previous years.
