When we first received the materials, everyone was excited about the idea of a cozy cafe in the library. Students are especially thrilled about being able to drink a warm beverage while spending time in the library (just in time for the fall and winter months). \r\n\r\nThis school year, we started off strong with an increase in book checkouts. So, the cafe is adding to the library buzz. Currently, I'm collaborating with teachers to develop a \"cafe bucks\" program for students in their classrooms. \r\n\r\nI'm so grateful for all of you who made this project come to life. Although we're still in the beginning stages of this cafe, I truly believe that this cafe will be an integral part of our school community.
