The arrival of Chromebooks in the social studies classroom marked an exciting turning point for both teaching and learning. The Chromebooks created a sense of energy and anticipation, as students understood they would be able to engage more actively with lessons, digital resources, and interactive assignments.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest changes students noticed was the elimination of long wait times to complete assignments and tests. Instead of waiting for limited computer lab availability or sharing devices, every student now had immediate access to the tools they needed. This allowed assignments to be started and submitted on time, reduced interruptions to instructional flow, and encouraged students to stay focused and productive during class.\r\n\r\nOverall, the introduction of Chromebooks increased student motivation and confidence in the classroom. Students expressed excitement about having more control over their learning pace and appreciated the instant feedback available through digital assessments. Their other favorite part was being able to polish their plates to control how dark they were able to make their prints.
