The technology has made it easier to engage students in social-emotional learning by allowing them to participate in interactive activities, calming exercises, educational games, and lessons that reinforce important skills such as emotional regulation, problem-solving, and healthy communication. Many students are more willing to participate when technology is incorporated, making sessions both meaningful and enjoyable.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students has been having access to engaging, interactive activities that make learning feel fun while helping them practice important life skills. Students who are typically hesitant to open up during counseling sessions have especially responded well, often becoming more engaged and confident when using these tools. Your support has helped create a positive learning environment where students feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn. I work in a specialized school district for students with Autism and high support needs. I am a new practitioner, and am relying on donations and lots of trips to Goodwill to find materials and activities that are meaningful for my students. I've been using the materials you generously donated each day with my students during therapy sessions to help them gain more independence in everyday activities, including zipping up their coat, learning how to write their name, learning how to use scissors to cut during a craft, and more! My students especially adore the alphabet floor puzzle, and many of my students have been requesting this every time they come to therapy. They've been so excited to engage with new materials and learn new things. I am trying my best to be the best for them and to learn as much as I can, and your donation helps me do that. Again, I am eternally grateful for your generous donation. My students have absolutely loved the materials and I'm already seeing them make progress towards their goals!","fullyFundedDate":1764635798769,"projectUrl":"project/sarahs-classroom/9616673/","projectTitle":"Sarah's Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sarah","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10185095"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_30666","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":462,"numTeachers":27,"percentFrplEligible":22,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":20,"percentWhite":59,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":9,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"17.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":90.5,"schoolId":30666,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Wolf Branch Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Wolf Branch Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/wolf-branch-school-district-113/wolf-branch-elementary-school/30666"}
