I have selected multiple items to change the learning atmosphere in our classroom to a classroom of movement! These items will help the students stay focused while learning. With physical activity being linked to higher academic performance, I want to offer the best learning environment for my class so their learning will be maximized. Using various seating options that allow movement while learning will help make a difference. A mini trampoline, yoga balls, and seat cushions will be very beneficial to my kindergarten student with lots of energy! Also, I have included light covers for the fluorescent lights in my classroom as a way to calm the environment. For students that want to sit in traditional seats, I found bands for chairs so they can move while working. Finally, I would love to have lap desks for the students that choose to work while sitting on the floor. Thank you!!!
