My first grade students were so surprised when I unwrapped everything. They especially loved the wobbly chairs and cushions! \r\n\r\nWe currently have two carpets in our classroom and before your donations, we did not have comfortable seating for them to sit and relax. I wanted an area where they could 'dive' into a book with a friend and really enjoy the story. Now, the students are always excited to have time to buddy read where they can be cozy and comfortable.\r\n\r\nBy consistently reading and talking about the stories, my students are improving their fluency and comprehension. Again, thank you so much for your donations!
